Kids grow up so fast. You have to try and take every picture of all their events they are in by camera or video if you can. 8th or 12th grade, you still gets excited about their ball dance. It is so funny, Dejuan is so skinny, we had to take his tuxedo pants to the cleaners for them to do alterations. How in the world 6'4 with a 32 in the waist line. That's crazy, I guess dress slacks for him is different from his jeans. His jeans is 34. With his long braids, he has an appointment with the salon today. We are more excited than he is. It bring tears to my eyes because he is just growing up to doggone fast. Omg, I told my husband I am going to stay their at the ball and my husband told me " NO YOUR NOT " lol. Can we slow the time down?

I know my kids are growing up so fast to my oldest is going to be 14 this year and now he going to be in the 9th grade this year coming Lords well I m so scared because he is so short he has to at 5'2 or 5'3 and his waist is a size 36 now. My little girl is going to middle school this year if Lord will to and my youngest is going to be in the 4th grade. So trust me I understand.
ReplyDeleteSeems like my niece was a cute adorable loving kid, then over night became an obnoxious "adult". I miss the little kid she was, and hope she will eventually grow up into a real responsible adult.
ReplyDeleteMan oh man. I know this feeling all too well. My kids are changing so much as the years fly by. I don't want them to grow up, even though I know they have to. I wish they could all stay little, at the age that they love hugs and kisses from mommy, with those little hands and feet. I miss my two big ones being little and I am totally going to miss my little one the way she is now. Well, there is nothing I can do about it, they all have to grow up into adults, eventually. I just hope they make excellent choices in their adulthood, and even in their teenage years. Keep those pictures and videos in a safe place so you can keep looking back now and then. That is what I would do.
