JEALOUSY!
How in the world can you carry kids in your womb and it turn out that one is jealous of the other. You are suppose to uplift your sibling with love. The kids were never separate. They receive the same things. As parents, if you give one gift you give the other. You love your kids the same. There is no I love him more than I love him. Where did all this come about? My mom said that the oldest shouldn't be so selfish. In his school age years, he received all the fame and now his little brother is getting all the attention he has a problem with it. Your 12 years apart. I love both my boys. I just don't get it.

ReplyDeleteI think that is all too common in all households. My kids tend to be like that about each other, but they also know I love them all the same. They argue and fight, but they also stick up for each other. I know they love each other very much and feel comfortable, and that is why they feel it is okay to be competitive for love from their parents. I hope this makes sense.
