If there wasn't for bad luck, there wouldn't be any luck at all. I had a phone call yesterday around 1:30. A young man asked for Shawn Johnson and my heart was pounding "oh my God a job interview", so after 1 minute he asked me about school that was on my resume. It was so weird it is on resume (I'm saying to myself). He replied I'm sorry Shawn but we can't work around your school and have a nice day. I said excuse me but what company is this and he said you are still in school and thank you for your time and he hung up. What a jerk!

I would of called him back and asked for a manager asking why did he even call me if he new he wasn't going to give me the job. I hate a job that does that, to me I wouldn't want to work for them anyways look how unprofessional he was by hanging up in your face.
ReplyDeleteThat just doesn't sound right. Why even bother calling you?? That would really make me angry. And you can't even lodge a complaint because you don't know who they are. If number was blocked, then it was a scam call OR a school recruiter, that got your number off an online application site.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is ridiculous. Then again depends on how you look at it. You could look at it like, hey he should not have bothered calling. Or you could look at it this way, at least he called to let you know so you won't sit there waiting forever and not get a response. Do you know what I mean?
